There is actually a very specific mormon cuisine. My ex boyfriend’s sister wrote an article about it. Funeral potatoes, jello, and Campbell’s green bean casserole are all a very big part of being Mormon! (I am not. I just live in Salt Lake.) Especially Funeral Potatoes.
